  3. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    i see you're working on the password bug, so just to put it out there:
    Just tried to change my password from the profile page and it say's your current password is incorrect!

    ^^^ I'm getting that too, but when I'm trying to change my Email account details.

    I used an old Email account when I joined up, several years ago, now I've got no idea what the password was to get into that account ( the Email acc ).

    And now not being able to change my details, means . . . when we need to reset password . . . I can't so . . . farewell to this account. But I do understand that this is due to the password bug that's affecting many of us.

    I'm not too stressed, I'm in no way a big contributor here, mostly just lurk and throw in a comment every few days. As that fat guy says in his song on the radio "Some people got real problems"

    I'll still be around, same avatar, just a variation on this name.

    Mods have experienced the same results with not being able to change email addresses ahead of reset of passwords that was supposed to take place today. That is being held off for now so that it can be resolved in a way that all can retrieve their passwords.

    If you have a problem similar to Dark_Mood's where you no longer have access to your email that you used to sign up with phun please report that here.
    Your email and password are noted on your profile section, contact details page.
    No need to report that you can't change either of them from that page, as that issue is well understood.

    It's imperative that your email address is accurate. Admins can edit it if necessary, but if it turns out to be thousands of people that would make for an unrealistic task. Somehow we're going to try to avoid that scenario.

    Further to Scribe's comment above, for those of you who've not used the "Forgot your Password?" routine, it's dead easy and works like this :-

    1 You click on the "Forgot your Password?" link in the Log-in process.
    2 You're asked for your identity, so give it your registered username
    4 Phun then emails you at the registered email address in your Profile (don't forget to check your spam/junk folder!)
    5 Click on the link provided (this verifies to phun that you are who you say you are)
    6 Insert your new password
    7 Hey presto!

    To be able to complete the above process it should be clear that a valid registered email address in your Profile is essential in order to close the security loop.
    If for any reason the email address in your current Profile is not working, contact an Admin.

    I don't know is it just me, but i just got this issue again and i had to go through the "Forgot your Password?" routine to fix it. I thought that ones you do it on the new platform it will work, but ...

    I just had to go through this a second time today. My known password decided not to work today. I reset it via the link, and am back in again.

    I havent experienced a problem from my pc where im still logged in.
    But when i tried to log on from a different pc i got a message that the password is incorrect.
    Hope this helps out somehow.

    I had a problem with the "Reset Password" page. Apparently my ad blocker was preventing the Captiva box from being seen. Was able to reset my password after turning it off temporarily.
