How not to mention Under the skin.
After the first reports from Venezia's Festival, september 2013, the hype has been real. I will always remember an italian journalist talking about ScarJo, using the words "Mai così nuda" (never this naked before). The waiting until the first screenshots on the Internet, april 2014 if I'm not mistaken, has been severe, but it was totally worth it.
Side note: I'm still hoping that, someday, a better version of the scenes will surface on the net. I know that at 99,9% it will never happen, but hey, a man can dream.

 

Then there was "The Island" (2005), Scarlett was willing to do nudity for her character? But the director changed his mind and decided against it and the studio was worried it would result in a "R" adult rating in the US?

 

From IMDB :"Johansson wouldn't come out of her trailer when it came time to shoot the sex scene, and Bay assumed it was the "typical woman not coming out of the trailer" thing. He went to her trailer but she surprised him by saying the issue was the wardrobe. "I'm not wearing this fucking ghetto-ass fucking bra! I'm going naked!" He had to explain to her that wasn't an option as the film was set to be PG-13."

 

There were rumors of Emily Ratajkowski having nude/sex scenes in the movie Welcome Home. I have never been more disappointed in my life.


I'm holding on to the hope that Alexandra Daddario's nude/sex scenes in Lost Girls will be fire...if it ever comes out.

 

For me it was Lisa Bonet in Angel Heart. I had not known the story line just that Lisa did a nude scene in the movie when I went to see it. A few very hot scenes to say the least.

 

The movie "Boogie Woogie" had nude scenes with Heather Graham, but early viewings mentioned a very nude scene from Gillian Anderson. I was VERY disappointed that the entire Gilly scene was left on the cutting room floor.

Actually ANY Gillian nudity that's been cut. Her rape/revenge flick early screenings called out a lot more nudity than we ended up with, although what we did see was fucking awesome!

 

Yes. I fapped many times to her topless photo in Interview magazine that year too.

Without a question, it was Alexandra Daddario in True Detective... That’s because I learned about it coming and after seeing her pokies in a horror flick.

 

Definitely Daddario in True Detective. I remember the countdown and anticipation building for months on the forum I was a member of at the time, people poring over every bit of news, every second of teaser and preview footage, and when one actually showed a snippet of the start of the 'unveiling' and it went to black right as she was about to lift her shirt, I remember how so many people became heartbroken because they thought that that was how the scene would play out in the full episode, or the camera angle would shift so it would just be implied and that would be it. And yes, I was one of those people, though I kept telling myself "This is HBO, this is classic teaser trailer stuff, this could be her breakout so no way will she back down like that". And I was one of those fans who was awestruck by her for years beforehand and saw she was definitely blessed in the body department. And when those first caps from 'The Scene' were posted, there was much joy to be had. The site and the internet was never the same. Some even say all bickering and fighting among men stopped for a brief moment in time as the caps, gifs and vids of the occasion were uploaded everywhere there are even rumors of secret monuments having been built where fans can offer their praise and thanks to all who made that scene come to fruition

So yeah, that's my most anticipated lol.

Powder Blue for me. Though I really thought Jessica's boobs would be bigger, she looked magnificent!

 

The following were probably my most anticipated when I think back on the amount of times i went to sites like upcomingnudescenes and recapped to find news and rumours : Lindsay Lohan in The Canyons (topless shots delivered), Kirsten Dunst in Melancholia (slightly disappointed), Sarah Silverman in Take This Waltz (epic), Winona Ryder in Sex and Death 101 (sadly only side-tit), Kristen Stewart in On the Road (such anticipation! - had to wait a few years for Personal Shopper to get a great scene), Scarlett Johansson in Under the Skin (epic), January Jones in Sweetwater (Betty fucking Draper! - delivered), Rooney Mara in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (epic), Jennifer Aniston in Wanderlust (biggest disappointment after rumours of a topless scene). Most great nude scenes like Daddario in True Detective came as a complete surprise to me. Speaking of Daddario, if Lost Girls & Love Hotels finally comes out and delivers on the rumoured nudity, that scene will be up there.

For me it was two celebrities. First was Emmy Rossum in Shameless. Second was Shailene Woodley on White Bird in a Blizzard.

 

Kate mara. the delays and rumors were killing me. She never did nudity before and I didn't expect the nude scenes to be like that.

 

I don't know that I anticipated it, but Peta Wilson in "Mercy" was a very pleasant surprise. At least for me.
