No, im not new to the internet. Thats irrelevant, though. In this small chunk of the internet, I can make annoyances go away. The problem is, this overblown sense of entitlement that seems to be rampant in todays society, makes people think they should have free reign to do whatever they want in the face of whatever rules might be laid out. Afterwards, they cry foul and play the victim when faced with accepting the responsibility for their actions. Its a tiring, tedious, repetitive, mundane circle. As is the witty remarks like yours. Absolutely nothing original or noteworthy. Here's an idea, do something we hardly ever see anymore. Dont say anything. That would be impressive.

 

every other thread I open this guy is there getting triggered about something or someone because they aren't as clever and original as he wants people to be on the internet.. you know like him, so clever and original in all his comments. hey, at least they arent annoying.
And When someone replies to him he will make a last reply and run for that close thread button.

I rarely do this, but this post makes you come across like an idiot. Triggered? Thats humorous. He made a comment and I responded. Its an open forum. Thats how they work.

If there are rules not being adhered to, thats a different story altogether. If I react in those situations, its also not triggered, its doing my job. Speaking of which, it is my choice to moderate the way I do. I could just delete everything that breaches the rules and hand out infractions and bans like a bot. I choose to be human and interact. I never claimed to be the standard for clever or original. That doesnt mean I dont know the difference between clever and not. Again, a poster came into an open forum and chose to make an attempt at being clever. It was literally the entire point of his post.

I am doing nothing that anyone else isnt also doing. That being sharing an opinion. Because my opinions dont align with yours, you feel you shouldnt have to be subjected to it. These negative comments and general shitty attitudes that fly around in these threads also conflict with other members opinions. Im sure they would also like to be free of it. Now, heres the major difference. The rules. If what is shared doesnt abide by the rules, then it will be removed from sight. Other than that...its an open forum. Dont know what to tell you.

Finally, that brings us to your last point I want to address. That being running for that close thread button. See how fucking annoying it is to have a wall of text like this? How about if theres 4 or 5 or 8 more just like it? Its bullshit to continuously bump a thread with a stupid argument that nobody besides the people involved actually give a shit about.
