    Another attempt at colorizing skin. Turns out I'm excessively red/green colorblind (Deuteranomaly).
    You can see why this would be a problem getting skin tones correct.

    This seems to be a more realistic skin tone than the Liz Hurley I posted above. (At least to me).
    Due to my color blindness, I doubt I'll be posting much from now on unless it's black and white or greyscale, that will make things more pleasant for other users, sorry folks.

    I just couldnt pass up the new Kaia pics...

    The BnW pics in this shoot are truly fucked up. They added a ton of black to them (for drama?)

    All I did was do an auto white balance >color to alpha (white FFFFFF) > select suit > new layer behind > color it back in white. Look at all the restored detail? > disable layer
    Next step was to import one of the color pics from the shoot and create a skin color palette from it.
    duplicate our white balanced base layer, change mode on this layer to LCH color, make sure our palette is set to our new Kaia skin palette
    > colors >map>color palette >apply
    >layer >new layer from visible
    >enable the white fixed layer
    >erase all the skin portions of the white details layer to reveal Kaia's skin/hair in color
    >new from visible
    > turn off all underlying layers
    > duplicate visible layer 2X
    > turn off extra top layer
    > scroll through layer modes on top layer to find visible improvements changing modes/opacities as you go
    > repeat step above until happy by duplicating the visible each time you find an improvement, at any time you can turn any one of those layers on/off to mix and match effects

    Apparently, there are new tools to do all this for you, but I enjoy doing this stuff by hand.
