Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Yeah, I hate RG at the best of times for the long download times and "wait two hours per download" BS. Literally spent five hours this week downloading another video on that site and I ain't paying for another site.

    Maybe a rule that videos need to be linked on all hosting sites as another help?

    Ill address your suggestion here, however, vgfan. While it may be a help to those who wish to download, it would be a pain in the ass for the people that are sharing to have it mandated that they upload every file to 6 different hosts. We have enough rules and hoops that we make uploaders deal with. I dont think we want to hinder peoples willingness to share by making it even more of a hassle. In a situation like this, it's a pain in the ass for us leeches to have to download 10 different files and a zip would really be helpful but I suspect there is a reason why it was done this way. As for me, I would always have a zip option when i upload multiple files but I'm not interested in any kind of gain. Just wanting to share with fellow like minded folks.

    It is annoying that with the dozen or so free hosts available that everypne on here uses these pay for use hosts. 10 hours to down 2 minutes worth of data on any free host is crazy.

    @Majesty9917 Totally fair, the zip situation seems like the best option because they tend to download faster and everyone can access software to open rar downloads.

    Anyway, that's my part of this discussion done to stop it going further off-topic.
