Can't wait for season 3.

This show keeps getting better and better!!!!!!

 

So I'm curious, does anyone know why they continue releasing all of this content. From what I gather they probably had all these pics and vids months, some even say years.
When it all started it was for money, but why do they continue releasing now? Do people still pay?

 

Well, they probably don't have access to the hacked icloud-accounts or computers anymore, since people changed their passwords or formatted their computers once they found out. So, no point holding out, i'd guess.

btw: Anyone think there is much much more than we have seen so far? The screengrab of Meagan Goods Facetime-chat would sort of suggest that to me. With hacked computers 20 pictures of one celebrity over a couple of years doesn't seem that much.

 

The FaceTime chat wasn't hacked. Most likely, the boyfriend took a screen cap during the session, then left it in his device, which was then hacked.

 

The consensus is that they were never really supposed to be public in the first place. But once a bit was leaked and it blew up, more people started started trying to buy/trade them and some were apparently successful.

As for why we're seeing more now, it seems that that too many people have various sets now for it to be contained. There's no "they" anymore and if there was it would probably be hard to keep everybody from leaking. It hit a point where it just unraveled.

Right, FaceTime didn't have anything to do with it. They may have come from different services and sources given how many leaks we're talking about. But as far as Apple is concerned, it was the Apple ID that was compromised probably through low-tech password-recovery and phishing methods. Once they had the Apple ID, there were able to do a complete rip of an iCloud backup and/or view the persons Camera Roll.

 

I'll ask again. Have we yet to have a legit celeb leak that was not on the original infamous list? I mean I keep hearing about Taylor swift, Katy Pery, Emma Watson ect... But to my knowledge if they weren't on the list they probably don't exist. Or at least they wouldn't be part of this specific leak.

But since on the topic, my dream for celeb leaks not on the list would be Katy Perry, Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Love Hewitt. Oh, and still waiting for Alison Brie. What can I say, I like my titties big and natural. Thanks Justin Verlander!!!!

 

To be the devil's advocate, I think you are right. If they are into this to make money, they are thinking about the long game and are most likely holding back the really personal stuff. So what I mean is, XYZ's pics looks great but that was just a proof of concept imho. They want them to know they got access at one point and kept pulling the content. The whole aftermath is the dark aspect of it I am worried about. Like, negotiations with them (the people who have the content, who aren't necessarily the hackers only anymore), but what for ultimately?

On the flipside, I saw Meagan's boobs.

 

Bella Thorne is the only name I can think of that wasn't on the original list. But her face isn't shown in her supposed nude. So was it really her?

Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, and Emma Watson are on the list of the most requested celebrities, which is why there's some wishful thinking.
The infamous list seems to be some informal document that was being forwarded around (notice the numerous "> > >") to potential shoppers, without many details and with a few typos. Sometimes the celeb name gets a "-" before, sometimes not. Sometimes, it's properly capitalized, sometimes not. It hints at one guy putting together the original list, then maybe some others filling out additional names.

Among the names that weren't part of the list but who had some pictures leaked, there's model Ali Michael and actress Liz Lee (who was underage) plus singers Jill Scott and Tenna Torres. These leaks are most likely unrelated, even if there are rumors that Torres leaked her pictures on her own, in an effort to be connected with the big event and raise her profile.

 

She was listed on other shorter lists as "Lady Sybil".

 

Probably, but I can't think of one. Certainly not a major one.

You're hearing about the them because they are obvious A-list names to get people riled up. I highly doubt it's anything more a combination of trolling, scamming, and wishful thinking.

Again, I don't think there is a discernible "they". If there ever was, it seems broad enough now that you probably couldn't extract a singular motive or game plan.

 

Ok so with all that said is there an "Emma" on the list at all?

 

From what I understand, a member at 4chan posted legit nudes of a celeb (I think it may have been Sarah Shahi?). This was at the beginning of September, when all of this started. He then claimed that he had Taylor Swift nudes, but that he was holding back from posting them yet. Supposedly, they were pics of Taylor Swift masturbating. Since he posted legit nudes of other celebs, he seemed to have credibility. A thumbnail sheet of the Taylor nudes got leaked, but every thumbnail was completely blacked out.

Later on, supposedly, other 4chan members said that they heard that the 4chan member who claimed to have the Taylor nudes admitted that he was lying, and that he didn't have any Taylor nudes after all.

It's very difficult to get accurate information there. Alot of the Taylor Swift nude discussions came from people who said they heard something from other members. There was alot of speculation and "He Said/She Said" talk, but nobody ever produced a shred of evidence that the Taylor nudes exist.

The wrestlers Melina and Velvet Sky aren't on the master list, either.

Curiously, Alison Brie is, but she's listed at the very bottom while the rest are in alphabetical order, and it says, "one pic of Alison Brie and Dave Franco" whereas two that supposedly here and Dave Franco were floating around. I think whoever compiled that list had serious doubts himself about her validity.

So in a somewhat related subject, let's talk Selena Gomez....

Originally during the first fappening we had Selena on the list with than a leak shortly thereafter. However, the photos were not new and from a few months earlier that everyone considered a lookalike and or fake. Selena herself also cried "fake!" So it was just brushed aside. But now that we have had multiple legit leaks which the old Selena photos were included in, can we for sure still assume they were not her? I mean was there ever official phun CSI proof that the Selena photos were not Selena? Other than Selena herself saying they were not her which many celebs do automatically like Victoria justice and Blake lively.

 

Am I the only one who saw the original 2 so called Allison Brie leaks that were topless headless shots? I mean with everything being so legit in the beginning and the fact that the body looked like a identical match to Allison, I just immediately assumed they were of her. But now I guess I was fooled. I clicked on a link, from this forum I believe, to an image site that had all the than current leaks in one place in order with names to identify each set of pics. Alison had 4 photos. The two headless shots that looked legit and the two obvious fake ones with a guy.

 

And you never thought to save these pictures?

 

No, the pics were from a tumblr and can be reverse image searched very easily. The girl is asian.
