  3. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Imagebam is down once again, and this time it doesn't look like a temporary downtime.
    Clicking on the thumbs just lead to a T-Online site.
    I really hope i'm wrong in this case.

    That was real and quite a few I knew lost pics from it. The owners also own imgbox which went through the same thing.

    It caused us to add quite a few new hosts which has been working out nicely. The ones that ended with .org (more than pixhost) have all run into a problem with their registries, but they are all back up. Would love to know why they got targeted.

    Pixhost seems to be running very slow for several days now. I've got fiber optic internet speed but it seems to take a very long time to view an image hosted on Pixhost.

    I'm not having that problem myself, but how are you coming to us? I have the fiber optics as well, but we learned after signing up that you really only get that speed if you're hard wired with an ether net cable to the router. Just wifi won't have the same results. Of course what I said would apply across the board not just to this one site.

    That's my only guess, but if anyone else is being affected, please say so.

    I don't know how to post the image of the speed test here. But I've got very good speed and I do have my computer hard wired to the modem. Now I'm calling 20 to 30 seconds slow but images the same size on imgbox or Imagebam pop right up.

    I have a question for the mods here. I have noticed recently that more and more celeb forums/sites are dropping pixhost from their approved list due to them deleting a high amount of pics. Will the same thing happen here as well?
