    She's not wearing pasties underneath the bra, the bra is actually sheer for the top layer and then a flesh colored silk back panel. The darker contrast of the sheer creates the illusion, while the under panel covers everything. It's like she's wearing a sheer bra over a bikini top. Turns out, it is a common tool in lingerie.

    I had to ask 15 or so years ago on fashionspot. They said the desired effect is the illusion of nudity, not actually showing anything. Which one you think about it, is the whole point of lingerie to begin with.
    After having it explained, I felt kind of naive.

    And it's exactly the sort of thing Sarah Gellar would do
