I never followed her wrestling career, but I did like her part in Extreme Exposé. And her WW cosplay is pretty sweet.

Speaking of Wonder Woman, anyone else see the movie? I think overall it was a hell of a movie, and a damn fine outing for the DCU. There were a couple things to quibble about, but what movie doesn't have those? WW was a hell of a great adventure. Well done, well played, well portrayed.

    She's hot...

And I agree with all of that on the movie.

Saw it last weekend. Good story, decent acting, Gal Gadot owns the role of WW as Christopher Reeve owned Superman. Could have spent a little more time and $$ on the CGI. Looking forward to seeing Gal reprise the role in Justice League and future WW sequels.

I thought it was good, not great. No Man's Land scene and her seeing the brutality of mankind's war were very good. Good humor that wasn't forced. The villain's part in the overall story could have been better. Plot was pretty basic, but effective in showing Wonder Woman's introduction into the world.

Great work by Patty Jenkins and Chris Pine.

Really liked seeing Gal prove her doubters wrong. She was solid in the role. I don't expect to see her on Broadway any time soon, but I think her acting is improving with time. I remember reading a lot of comments on social media and Yahoo where people were predicting her failure. She takes the criticism in stride, too. She had a good (playful) interview with Jimmy Kimmel where she acknowledged that some fans were complaining her chest wasn't big enough to play Wonder Woman when she was first cast in the role. After seeing how down to Earth she is, listening to her talk about the initial audition for the role was cool to hear. This was a massive breakout movie for her and she's about to get paid nicely because of it.

They all worked hard on that movie. All the Amazons worked with the trainers from 300. They did 2 hours of working out, 2 hours of fight training, 2 hours of horseback riding lessons, etc 6 days per week. Took in between 2000-3000 calories per day which meant they were eating every couple of hours. Yes, that included Robin Wright and Connie Nielsen.

    Excellent summation.

I'm in love with Gal Gadot.

    Pine was spot on.

Jenkins said on Conan that she recruited the finest female athletes she could find to portray the Amazons. Martial artists, archers, stunt women, horsewomen, track & field competitors... etc. And it showed. The battle on the beach was amazing.

The girl who portrayed young Diana was delightful. I hope she has a long and successful career ahead of her.

I'm sure one of them was a pro wrestler, too. Sadly, the only woman I recognised who wasn't Gal, Robin Wright or Connie Nielson during those scenes was Brooke Ence.
