  3. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    I saw the other thread about this had been closed, but I'm still having the same issue.
    • When I upload a new one, I get the message Upload completed successfully but it still shows the previous avatar.
    • If I use the Delete current avatar? option first and then upload, it also shows the previous avatar.
    I've tried clearing browser cache & uploading from different devices. Thanks for any help.

    All of the above are not the only Phunners experiencing this problem. I have been in contact with several of the Mods and it s actually a server problem and cannot be remedied at this point in time. It is on their to-do list. I'm as anxious as you all are.

    Nothing alters, it says "Uploading." "Picture uploaded" but it's still the same one as before.

    The same for me as well, X. You would think Cayne would at the very least, "try" to take a stab at it. S-type had informed me it would be up to Cayne and I "might" be contacted.....

    This is a flaw in the software. Xenforo is decent in many ways unfortunatly it cant detect new avatars without indepth tweaking. None of us including cayne is familiar enough with the system to attempt such an endeavor right now.

    The issue should be solved now - but due to using a CDN there will be a delay of around 5-6 minutes, before your new avatar is going to appear. Please try it and let us know if it works.

    I've had the same problem log out clear your history and cache log back in and try again it's just a case of perseverance ..
    BTW a screenshot of your Avatar is below in case you can't see it yourself ....
