Jennifer Lawrence didn't mince her words when speaking about her body paint job as Mystique in the film and added that they tweaked the First Class design a bit: "I'm naked. But when I do get to wear clothes, I love the 70's outfits. Some of the Mystique look is a little different, but we're still using the same paint."

Rebecca Romijn also was a model and had posed practically naked, i.e. only with body-paint, in front of cameras before. Jennifer Lawrence comes from a different background and is on a entirely different level, imho also actually based on how she acts like in the movies.

She actually ended up having a bad allergic reaction to the paint, so they ended up making her a suit to wear instead of full on body paint. or thats what i heard

I have no idea where the pic is anymore but she actually had a picture of the rash and it was pretty bad. I really don't blame her at all. I mean it sucks but it's better if she's not in some kind of gruesome rash the whole movie lol.
