    They are both fine players and I dun know which one when they were/are both at their best would come out on top. Both Maria and Anna came through the US training camps.

    Anna reached No. 7 in the WTA singles ranking but she did reach No. 1 in the doubles together with several major doubles titles. No doubt Maria is destined to reach No.1 singles ranking but could she beat Anna before she had her ankle injury. The jury is out on that one.

    On the other hand I would kick either of 'em out my bed and if you add in Dani as well I'll be a pretty happy fellow

    Hey, don't let the truth about Anna's tennis ability (pre-injuries) get in the way of unfunny jokes! I'm pretty sure 8th was as high as she got, but she did get to the semi-finals of a few high-profile tournaments. She was a damn good tennis player. It's unfortunate she got injured.
