    Jeff Hanneman died last year, so I would assume Slayer is pretty much finished. Well, they've been finished in my mind since Seasons in the Abyss, but that album and everything previous (except Hell Awaits) were awesome. I guess they could continue with another guitarist, like they did with another drummer when Lombardo was out of the band, but it's never the same. They could officially NOT continue if Tom Araya wasn't there. Once the vocalist and frontman is gone, that's the end of that era, especially if it's one this good:
