Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Bad: They took their own x-rays. (When they took x-rays at ER I was told no bones were broken and that there was nothing unusual about my foot other than the bunion. :roll:) Results weren't good, the bone is actually deteriorating. The podiatrist said it looked similar to an extreme case of arthritis and that at my age, my foot should not look like that. There was also a part of the bone that was gone. Almost like the bone was chipped, except that it was completely smooth. There was no clear cause for what's going on with my foot, so he is going to try to get an MRI authorized. Odd thing is apparently podiatry is not covered under medicaid, although I was given full authorization for my visit.

    Good: The people there were a thousand times better than the people I had been dealing with before. Very nice, very helpful and actually did their job. :lol: The doctor even gave me a boot so that I could get back to work. He wasn't sure if my insurance would cover the cost of the boot, but he said I needed it and gave it to me anyways. :D

    It was definitely a nice change of pace. They also said that I was nice, which was nice to hear since the physician I was seeing called me stubborn & rude. The podiatrist even said that my attitude about the whole situation made his day. I told him that after nearly 2 months of nothing happening, it was just nice that something was finally getting done. Even though the prognosis wasn't great, it was nice to just finally have some information about what's going on.

    Well I'm on medicaid, so it's not costing me anything yet. It would be great to get the MRI, but even if they don't, the podiatrist is still authorized to treat me.
