Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Here is a rar of 3134 fonts that i put together for you lot.
    There are loads of things in here. Something for every taste. I have been collecting them for a while and i haven't used even 1% of them so far.

    All you have to do is drag and drop them into your fonts folder.
    I am not sure if that would take a while so i suggest if you don't have alot of fonts already that you save any you really like to a safe location then simply replace the entire fonts folder with this new one and then drag your saved ones back inside. That should work.

    I've never tried GIMP Sid but i would be pretty confident that they do. I tried them other programs like MS Word and they work great so i would say there would be no bother with GIMP.

    dafont is ace, i also use http://www.1001freefonts.com/

    that and torrents.

    A good font can really set of even the most basic of sigs. experment as much as you can!

    Definitely. Sometimes I'll spend a half hour or more lookin' for just the right font to compliment a graphic.

    I use a handy little preview app called 'The Font Thing' to browse all fonts on my system (freeware) - http://members.ozemail.com.au/~scef/tft.html
