Alexandra's new movie is out now. people on recapped said that some nudity was cut.

Welp, we waited almost 3 years exactly for this (35 months to be exact) and boy was it a disappointment.

based on what has been shared in her subreddit today, total of 3 scenes of nudity... 1 primarily of her butt, side boob poorly lit from far away... another quick clip of her breast/nipple as she lays flat in a bed with awful lighting (can barely make it out) and 1 more of her laying stomach down on a bed (so another ass shot, which is not her moneymaker)

not gonna lie I am pretty angry considering both the absurdly long wait for this and the initial reports of how much sex/nudity was shot

whomever made the decision to cut it all should really get an earful about it... the selling point of this all along would be "Alex Daddario nude... a lot" and they chose to cut 99% of it so no wonder nobody wanted it

guess all we can do now is hope one day they release the movie in uncut form or there are deleted scenes that show up somewhere

 

Don't forget in this this time of covid-19 Hollywood is struggling. There's too many forms of entertainment to keep both kids and adults amused and out of cinema seats that tent pole films of 200 million plus dollars aren't assured being successfull.

This is an Indie film. I'm pretty sure when it's reception is considered moderate to lukewarm they'll blame the nudity.
See Alex Daddario nudity couldn't save this movie therefore no one wants to see any films where she or other actresses show any nudity. Completely missing your point.

This same thing happened to the Diora Baird film Beautiful girl. It took nearly 5 years to be distributed and when it finally got distribution they cut all nudity. She plays a pornstar and the film was initially promoted as a modern Boogie Nights. Ironically Diora Baird then decided at that time of her career to no longer do nude scenes. While today she has an only fans.

There's a special place in hell for the dude who cut Alex nude scenes from this film.

I'm really not sure why anybody was waiting. She showed nearly every square centimeter of her body on True Detective. Outside of moving to porn, it's not like we were going to see anything new.

 

Is this movie still a thing?

 

Seems pretty good to me. That ass is as spectacular as her breasts. At least there still is nudity. I'm still pissed that Natalie Portman's topless scene in Closer was cut. And don't get me started on Jennifer Aniston in Wanderlust. The fact that they screened a version with her topless at a film Festival but it never made it to the States haunts me. I'm haunted by missed titty opportunities.

 

I knew it wasn't going to live up to its potential, but this is ridiculous. Thank the higher powers for whatever was going on in her head when she decided to do that epic nudity in True Detective.

 

because she's gorgeous and has great breasts and seeing them multiple times in new situations/lighting is always nice

by your rationale why does anyone watch numerous scenes by porn stars? once you've seen the woman nude and fucking once no need to ever see them again

 

This is the run-of-the-mill retort you usually find nowadays on the internet.

What I mean entails the process of following points:

1. Kind of using someone's post and reframing (i.e. rewording) that post, usually by distorting the original train of thought that a reader would follow by using common sense.
2. Optional: implying the original post says something ridiculous, only works though if you nail the 1st point.
3. Turning up the level to 200% of being "angry" and/or "annoyed" by someone else's opinion and overplaying the statement of 1.

But fwiw, I'll give it one try: talon was saying that he does not understand the anticipation, not that he would look at Alexandra Dad... again because he/she saw her fully nude in True Detective.

Also, the spicyness seems to be arguably lower than expected.

It's still nice, it's the Goddess naked and sexual after all. But considering the earliest reports from some pretty accurate sources, this movie got a bit of a hatchet job. May we one day get a directors or unrated cut
