  3. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    I think the allowed filehosts should be updated.

    My recommendation for allowed filehost:

    www.wupload.com

    Free Speed: 500Kb/s
    Free down/up: 2GB (Hotfile 400mb)
    Wait period: 10s then 10 mins between downloads (Hotfile has 30min wait!)
    Premium speed over 5MB/s+

    ALSO:

    The maximum filesize a free user can download is now actually up to 1GB (configurable on the settings).

    We have no interest in adding to our list of allowed file hosts.

    Additionally, We are aware of FS file options but have chosen to keep our limit at 400MB, and the reason being is: (configurable on the settings).
