Not sure if any of you guys have seen this
There's a new add-on for the latest Firefox version which you can use to
    make animated .png files.
Apparently its only currently usable on Firefox 3 but obviously it sounds like a great leap forward from those muddy gifs as it should have all the benefits of jpg quality (on photos).

    Either draw them on or..

    Create new layer (CTRL+SHIFT+N)
    Select all (CTRL+A)
Edit > Stroke > Choose pixel size and colour.

And when you click on the right side on the layer with your rightbutton of your mouse you can choose "blending options" and there you can make a second stroke.

    1. create new layer
    2. make a selection inside of where you want the border to be
    3. select inverse
    4. fill or whatever
    5. apply whatever effects or drop shadow you want
    you're done
you can use multiple layers to make complex borders/frames.

this is if you want to make your own. theres a shit load of canned borders that require damn-all ability if you'd rather go that way.

Lol, sorry man, I dont run sigs, dont even have them turned on. You'll notice my isp is sprint. I have an unlimited data account and have my phone dongled/tethered to my lappy. I supposedly get (read "am paying for") 3G but reality is 1.5-2.1Mbps. Load times are slow enough as it is. I guess I could do up one then just leave it turned off on my end. Hadnt really thought about it.

damn, I dont remember an underwater one. I did finish up the natalie portman/flag/statue of liberty sig with a nice brushed gold filter over a glass etch script and a drop shadow effect. It'll do till next weeks entry comes around.

Lads, i just got p/shop on the new machine and have a small problem. When i click the auto select option when using the move tool i can select any layer except from the background layer. I can't see anything to alter this and its a new feature to me.

Anyone know how to rememdy this?

Double click the thumbnail of the "background" layer to get rid of the padlock.

    hmm...it should work :?

I double-click the layer like this:

    Then this window pops up:

Once you click okay the "background" layer becomes an editable layer:
