  3. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

Help ImageVue Problem with IE

    Cant' get imagevue to display the pics after clicking them. Saw the thread to type about:config but that only gives me the IE error page.

    done that, still no joy?? I'm puzzled because its only just started to happen, I haven't changed nout on my PC since I joined Phun. Only happened in the past few days really? Its starting to fuck me off!

    Try this one...tellme if it works or not:

    Clear the IE cache from IE> Tools> Internet
    Options> General> Delete files and Delete offline content. Reset the TIF
    folder size to about 50MB (Settings button)

    btw, are you working on XP with service pack 2?

    I've read all your replies which are much appreciated... But, no luck so far.

    Could it be ImageVue or is do you believe it is a problem with my settings. I've never had this problem before on this site and this is the only site I am experiencing it.

    ya this is driving me crazy too, come on guys, its not like this is something we have to set up. ive used imagevenue many times before and all of the sudden i cant see the large pics - WTF? i thought it might be this ->
    but if its not happening to everyone then ive got no clue and im just plain pissed

    Well I surpose thats abit of good news about imagevenue but like you said not everyone is having problems just afew users?
    Like you this is pissing me rite off! When did you start getting problems? Its been trouble for about 1 week with me.

    i am a very biased person to answer that ;-) i've been using Firefox for almost a year now!!! try and download it here
    if you have any questions just post it here, so that Linus can read it and help you when i'm offline (he uses Firefox too)

    I am using firefox and just last week I started having the same trouble with imagevenue.

    If anyone has any ideas why or what I can do to fix this problem I would appreciate it. Thanks.

    hey ive been using both browsers off and on, and for the record i think that they both have their pros and cons but firefox owns IE, and i have been experiencing problems with the imagevenue hosted pics for about a week now. i still see the thumbs but all i get is a little red x when i click the thumbs and go to the imagevenue site. really makes me mad and i dont know what the fuck to do about it :(
