  3. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    every time i open an image linking to that site my antivirus goes nuts

    its not live jasmin, sharenxs Phun Image Venue all sell space to LJ. I forget what ad gave those warnings but we took down their ad and made them change them before we would do business with them. as for adblocker they would pretty good but they block out allot of good stuff as well.

    I keep getting warnings about imagehaven also,just recently.Had not had a real problem with that sight until the last few days.

    NoScript is another FF addon that works beautifully.

    I can't remember the last time I saw a pop-up, or an ad that I didn't give permission to. ;)

    I'm thinking IH isn't the concern. The issues most likely reside within the java scripts that load from the advertisers. You need to guard your system a little better my friend. Use one of the aforementioned programs, and all will be right with the world. ;)
