    If these were the only nude pictures of Rihanna,i am sure her people were have put in a denial of them being her straight away,but as they haven't,they must know there are more out there that prove conclusively that it is her,which is why such a denial hasn't been made.

    OK...say I post a picture (of myself, for instance) saying that it's someone else; in said picture, I am doing something that could be damaging to the reputation of the person I claim the photo is of. For example, a photo of (me) as a famous celebrity, sunbathing nude. Of course, my face would be obscure enough to leave the real identity of the subject "questionable". But, the implication would be that the named celebrity sunbathes nude. The pictures could be damaging to the reputation of the celebrity. These pictures are unauthorized because they are attached to a renowned person...being distributed as pictures of the named celebrity. The photos themselves, even though I created them, are attached to the celebrity's name and reputation. The managerial team of the celebrity can demand that these pictures (since they have been attached to the celeb's "public image") be removed. It is a lot easier doing this than to ask that the real subject of the photographs be named. With Rihanna's representatives doing this, and adding "alleged" in reference to the identification of their client in the photographs, are trying to keep things vague enough that it would be less embarrassing to their client than to say, "....yeah, those are her".

    I didn't really expect to have to write all that out. I hope it makes sense.
