Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Been using photos.cx for a while now (thanks to toolz, mrfreeze, and others) with the sig and hotlinked pics. It's been working flawlessly and is extremely fast. It has a limit higher than 120K as seen with Imagesocket for pics showing up as a "big" pic and not a thumbnail. I just wanted to spread the word. It's a complete replacement for Imagesocket, in my opinion. I just opened the spam-alot pic thread and was looking through some of the pages, and it's unbearable and turtle slow because of Imagesocket. I figured I'd post this and see what you all think about putting it on the approved list. I have a feeling people will love it.

    Once I had an issue back when I posted only gifs here, because it consumed all photos.cx's bandwidth, and he banned phun for a while, but seems it got sorted out.

    Even my sig I believe is hosted there also.

    it's the bomb! i've been using it for everything hotlinked and for my sig.

    btw this is not my host. i just like it. i have no ties or affiliation with it whatsoever.

    somebody just pm'ed me a question about putting a gif up and referred to it as "your host" so just wanted to say that. ;)

    just because this happened, it doesn't mean imagesocket is good all of a sudden. it's still terrible. :(

    this really sucks too though!

    hopefully g.photos.cx will be up in the near future as the dude says (and our sigs and pics are obviously still working)

    BOTTOM LINE:
    PHUN IMAGE HOST PLEASE

    i hate imagesocket. but ivenue was my first host, i use mostly Bam right now but i would definitely donate money to photos cx or even phun based one if it was a possibilty.
