  3. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Adding to Phun artists resources, this thread will be devoted to texture papers, overlays and backgrounds to be used for whatever creative works they may serve. For those with the talent of creating them from brushes and filters on a blank canvas, your works are very welcome here. The same goes for Phunners photographers. One simple rule. They must be 100% Phun member original creations. I'm really looking forward to seeing what will develop here from Phun's wealth of talent.

    great photos, quite a few too "good" just for backgrounds....

    going to try to add some photos, just need to move my ass and take my cam with me more often again ;)

    as for now - two potential backgrounds - resurrected from bama´s "nature lovers" thread. the left ones are the originals, followed by some samples of "added drama" by playing with filters etc.
    (still amazing that one can convert early summer to autumn with just a few mouse-clicks...;))

    For post-work editors like us that utilize these type of textures and background for work, this is a mountain of gold. Thanks RIVER. Its amazing the endless possibilities that one can do with a few pictures that most would consider insignificant.
    I have a whole bunch of these on my filing. My wife is so funny about it. A few months ago she was going through some of our photos and she came across my photoshop sources. She said, "Why in the hell do you have pictures of concrete, bricks and wood?!?!" I told her, "I find beauty in everything." :)

    More cloud formations, taken over the last few weeks. Most are 1556x1050 but a few were reduced to 1185x800 to help calm film grain. Hope they'll be of use to someone.
