I'm a lurker who just created an account to agree wholeheartedly with OP. I think I can speak for all the lurkers here, who are incredibly necessary for the site to survive financially, the issue he raised is incredibly annoying, and keeps me from coming back here more often.

This is the best place for leaks and discussion of leaks on the whole internet. It's got a great userbase, rules, and layout. But you're squandering it by letting a small group of people post nothing pictures of "Emma Roberts walking on a sidewalk " dozens of times a day. It's massively cluttered with social media pictures with 1,000 views and you have to hunt for the leak threads with 500K+ views, or hope you were on the page when a nipslip of your favorite celeb was posted. The big threads would have way more views if this place was easy to navigate for outsiders. You guys really can't see past your own noses enough to see the organizational issue there? There should be a whole section for "social media/paparazzi" or a "nudity/leaks only" section or something. Having such varied kinds of content here clearly isn't working.

All you lifers who think you're special because you post a lot in a porn forum, get over yourselves. You literally didn't even read what OP wrote. You just instantly went to "Complaint?!?! You can't complain!!! Post good content if you're going to complain about the content!!!" when his complaint was that there is TOO MUCH CONTENT. He says there should be less posts and you go "Post more then, newbie!" It's ridiculous. This is about logic, not "respect."

The site needs traffic. You can swallow your pride and do what's best for the site, or you can get defensive and butthurt when someone raises a pretty reasonable concern. Outsider opinions matter. Without outsiders this place would be shut down within the month.

 

Celebrity Extra wasn't created for any one specific purpose, other than to create a space for extraneous celebrity minutia that was encroaching on the OP content of Celeb Photos. Particularly, but not limited to, extracurricular debate, social media pic flooding, well meaning trolling, not well meaning trolling, White Knighting, games, polls, reasons to wank , stuff that has nothing to do with what you just said, booty pics just for the fuck of it, Ooops!, requests, polls, contests...

And, a place for people to create a thread in which to bitch about Celebrity Extra and it's awful shortcomings.

I have to admit..., of all the sucky forums on phun, this one is the suckiest! Just imagine how great it would be if were limited to two or three narrowly defined items!!!

I don't really understand why some pics get posted here & similar pics don't, but I have no problem checking both celeb sections a few times a day.

No one was insulting anyone here, no one was disparaging your community at large, but clearly you guys can't accept even a minor suggestion of moving or reorganizing content. You could have gone "well the reason it's set up like this is x, y, and z" or "interesting, I guess I hadn't thought of looking at it this way, but here's why I think it should stay as it is." Instead you've jumped immediately to "NO ONE SHOULD GET THE BEST CONTENT HERE EXCEPT LONG TIME POWER USERS."

How welcoming and friendly of you. I can't wait to dive into these great discussions you're talking about in the other sections.

OP is correct, Phun has totally failed at being the perfect version of a porn forum to match the tastes of every single individual that visits the site.

Maybe what we need is to create a 10-step tutorial on how to efficiently navigate through content on a internet forum, because the additional 15 seconds these dudes have to spend looking for the "right" pics of butts and boobs is bordering upon inhumane.

Somebody needs to step up and do something here.

Actually in seriousness, at some point in the next 5 years we will probably have either a) the ability to customize our experience here to only see whatever it is we like, or b) Phun will install the Facebook algorithm that does a good job of only feeding you what you've liked or clicked on in the past.

Until then, go check out some of the other major porn forums around and either realize that here's about as good as it gets, or bring actual ideas back to accompany the rant.

 

You know, I think the point some were trying to make here is that if you never log in, never post anything, never thank anyone for taking the time to post the content you enjoy seeing, then you don't really have a legit complaint.

 

I try to post what I like and what other people here like. I love leaks but that's not going to happen every day of the week. I'm a wrestling fan so I try to post hot female wrestlers. The new members can also post stuff if they want to.

 

One can be a celebrity without being a person. Lassie, Harambe, Grumpy Cat, etc. are at least as much celebs as some of the people who have been posted here.

Can't understand the people posting Insta pics. If we want to see that we can look at Insta. Yes some of you have posted 1000's of pics. But 99% of it is garbage.
If it's not leaks or decent quality nudes it doesn't count for shit.
The fact you sit around all day looking at social media is nothing to be proud of.
