    Now it's just like Rapidshare.de, you need to wait 40 minutes. That blows. Especially since I have a subscription to Rapidshare.de.

    EDIT: Nevermind, you can get a free account at the .com site if you have a premium account at the .de site.

    RS.com uploader fixed

    Couldn't get the rapiduploader.exe off rapidshare.com to even load, kept getting an error "rapiduploader.exe isn't a valid win32 application" but got this fixed version sent back to me from tech support. Here's a temporary solution for anyone with problems. Whole new version susposed to be posted to their site in a week or so.

    Tested it out and works fine uploading to my premium account now. Will work for collectors account too for automated uploading. Drag and drop any files you want to share and it will upload them for you one at a time until they are all done. Links will appear on their own in your account. Don't forget to enter your login info under the settings tab.

    and who would pay for the servers, the connectivity, the employees answering your emails, etc?

    that just doesn't make sense. you have a benefit, what's wrong with paying for it?

    other than that i just see p2p as a solution for sharing files.

    I renewed my .de account and I tried to get a free one with .com again using the number that .de provided me and .com said the account was already used. Was that promo a one time deal? Does anyone know or am I missing something?
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    never had a premium-account for rs, nor .de neither .com. - but for "regulars" it´s cheaper than a random meal at McDonalds per month...
    never got it why so many people are complaining about rs. it´s fast enough, reliable, no bunch of annoying pop-ups or ads, links are easy to find - lot of things you don´t see combined on many other sites.
