Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Just throwing this out there.

I do not like to promote other websites on my website unless it is mutual.

Some other forums, I will not mention, decided to embed their URL into each image they show. Give you, they do not OWN the image so it is actually illegal to do so.

BUT my question is... how can I wipe the info completely clean. They have gone so far as to embed the URL into what is called some microsoft last word?

Just wondering how I can wipe the whole thing clean...

I am in the middle of copy - pasting into new document and saving as... but I am running into issues that I have to type in a name and a type and that takes for ever.

Sorry my ritilin is in high gear and my mind is flying... any help greatly appreciated.

i usually go into picture properties and choose information once your there its pretty easy too remove any free site commercial. However somehow i feel that you know this and are looking for something more advanced but it is my "2 cents" anyway. :)

I think he's talking about Right-Click (on image you saved) --> Properties --> Details.

    I could be wrong, though.

This info is called Metadata; I did a quick search on ".jpg file info stripper" and came up with several programs that should do the job, but you'll probably lose all the data, not just the offending site tag - not sure if that's a problem for you or not.

I use jhead to remove all metada info from jpegs ... (also available in your favorite linux distro)

    just run:
    Code:
      jhead --purejpg *.jpg
