both are wicked, but had to go with number one.

had more going on it it, loved it. nice work on both!

Sig1: The sig looks very, very good. The gentle lighting is wonderful, the clouds simply look amazing. The text, as usual, is top notch work, good placement and good font usage. I am not a fan of these borders that only go vertical or horizonal. In my eyes, it kinda ruins every sig. Its just my opinion, gents.
Still an impressive signature though!!!

Sig2: The atmosphere is astonishing!! I very much like the background. The text is well executed and looks very interesting. I guess, its because of the poor image quality of the render, why the figures have such horrible edges, so its not that bad. The border kicks ass, i just love it.
Another impressive signature for sure!!


In the end sig2 made it. Slightly, but still.
But ... awesome work, you two. I am sincerely impressed!

 

Went with 1 but both are pretty cool. Tough Choice, good work fellas

 

Went with #1, love the cloud and light effects, text, very nice, but I would of placed the light source under the border, IMO.

Sig 2, because of the brilliant atmosphere it creates.
Was a hard one though, in the end I think it was the fact that I usually prefer a bit of colour over pure b/w pics.

Voted #1 Excellent cut out work, good text, good clouds background. Dont care for the border. If it's a frame like a picture the sight doesnt work since it's back lit. If it's just an effect, i just dont like it. I also prefer either a full frame or no frame at all.

#2 Liked the text, liked the feel, loved the frame, good choice of characters, lost on the cut out work. On subjects that small a smooth line is imperative. Next time try the same layer in "darken only" mode so you lose the jaggies from aliasing.
