    Nice work both of you! :thumbs:

    1) nice cutout and border work, a little weird how the bar just ends at the top, but I like the humor in it, because well I share that opinion on the theme myself!

    2) nice effects overall, very sleak, nice lighting, nice sharpness, text could still use a little tweaking (imo) but it is still very nicely layed out.

    hmm, I'm gonna have to think this one over! :)

    Well, content is gonna bias me on this one.

    I just love the b&w Bats comics from the mid 90s. Easily my favorites, just ahead of Millers mid/late 80's DK Returns.

    Otoh, I got a good laugh at the "Tick-style" Bats in #1. If you'd had a smiling batsignal in the sky behind him, I would have voted for yours in spite of your opponent using my favorite Bats style.

    I went with #2 also. It was hard to pick at first because I really like the style of #1, but #2 was just more my taste, and the darker theme pipped it to the top.

    Ps - it is a shame it is so one sided because both are excellent, I was on the verge of voting for 1 but opted for 2. Sig 1 would win most competitions but is just up against another very good sig.
