Why Rapidshare?

you know the problem i have with rapidshare was when i paid for my membership they said no more pop-ups. but within the past month they started adding pop=ups not even my pop=up blocker can block.

 

I dont mind uploading media to get full access but they shouldnt charge for me to be able to upload so I can download

 

rapidshare can´t be that bad seeing all those efforts in "cheating" getting rid of download-limits without having a premier-account...
in the long run never seen any file-host for all kind of content with such reliability.
those who have been on phun for some time have seen so many file-hosts... qfile (gone), ysi (remember?)... rs is still there and working fine.

 

which file host is used the most ????

I not bashing RS at all I like it but wish there was another way to get premium acess by uploading media. I on limited budget or else I would pay for the first month to get in

 

Her webmaster is pretty sharp and has had plenty of links shut down, and prohibited her posting on many boards. You do raise a great point about ripping her site. If she (or other models) can't make money because everyone is getting their stuff for free, they go out of business. Still however, whether it is Kate or anyone else, people devoting 6 hours a day without a premium rapid share account can get maybe 6 files a day.

I can see why those with a premium account say it is so great, you get unlimited downloads. Members can upload to their hearts content for each other and the members give each other a free ride due to these downloads and the sum total of what the non-members acquire.

However, R/S is dependent upon new people signing up to keep the site going. People who join just to download won't stay members forever. Once R/S realizes the uploaders are getting a free ride, and if the new memberships decline, guess what? No more free ride for the members. you will have to pay too.

The evidence is that there are better freehosts out there for sharing. Yeah, maybe not all will survive, but eventually, they will force R/S to change. When I upload something I upload to share with whomever wants it. I want as many people to have it as possible. My interest in porn is to share it. I don't download much at all, and I ignore many killer threads full of pics and movies that are there for the taking on ftp. I used to upload a lot to R/S, but no more. I know what a bitch it is to get something. If I want something on R/S, I will patiently get it.

 

kinda gay that BaDongo allows you upload up to 1GB files but you can only download 150 MB at a time. Unless you are using a DL manager, you will never get that file.

RS owns all! All the cool guys use it, and the ladies love it. Where else can you share a 1.5MB file and have it downloaded 32,000+?? The 30 seconds it took me to upload the file and share it allowed me to extend my account for 3 months.

you certainly have it all wrong! Ok, if I upload a 200 MB file on BaDonGo, it will split it into two 100 MB parts, which you can simultaneously download, and it will d/l very fast. If I put it on rapid shit, a non-member gets to wait 72 minutes after the first part finishes downloading (Which takes 30-40 minutes). Then he usually waits another 40 minutes for part 2 to download.

Only members of Rapid Shit think it is cool. Once the management at R/S pulls the plug and cancels account extentions, you guys won't be loading shit to it especially when you realize how hard it is to download when you stop paying a monthly fee.

They do monitor how much you download, and if the guys hanging on for free off downloads are raping too much, you are costing R/S money. once they figure that out, bye-bye extensions.

No one has or will ever prove R/S is a good Free host. as a pay host goes, yeah it is good because then you can download freely. But why pay when you don't have to? Someone has a signature, "You paid for porn, rofl" or something like that. That is what R/S is counting on, people to pay. The big uploaders aren't.

 

IMHO RapidShare is the best, it's fast for me.

i dont upload shit. i barely use my rapidshare account, but i still pay for it. why? because its only 9 euros a month. if 9 euros is that big of a deal, you are eather too young to be looking at porn, or you need to get off the internet and get a fucking job (or go get your GED and quit working at micky-d's you bum.) Rapidshare saves me time, which in turn saves me money.

try www.sendspace.com instead... but if people choses rs, there it means there is something better there.. how they say... merchant logic...

 

Never cared too much for sendspace's D/L speed. I always get 15-20 kbps.......no good for the bigger files.

Rapidshare is Great!, if you have a Premium a/c. Which is not a big deal if you share your things with others through Rapidshare.
